Phylabs Knowledge-Based Company has started its activity in 2012. This company is active in the fields of optics and photonics and in commercializing the results of related research. The Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences, in Zanjan, Iran has numerous laboratories in various optical fields, with a primary focus on different measurements based on optical methods. Phylabs was established with the aim of transforming the ideas and research results of these laboratories into commercial products and meeting the specialized market needs in this area. This company was established by Ph.D. graduates of the same university which now are faculty members. Currently many graduates from different fields, such as physics, optics, electronics, mechanics and computer software, are working here. Phylabs produces products with advanced knowledge and technology. Initially, the company focused on producing products to meet the needs of domestic industries, universities, and research centers It has successfully established effective connections and produced and commercialized products based on its ideas and inventions. In the next phase, the company aims to enter international markets and export its products. The board members of Phylabs hope that through these efforts, they can not only create added value and production but also take effective steps toward employing specialized workforce and university graduates.
