Manual Nano Linear Translation Stage

A manual Nano linear translation stage is designed to provide precise translational motion along a straight path with nanometer-scale positioning accuracy. In certain experiments conducted in precision physics and optics research laboratories, highly accurate positioning and adjustment are essential. Precision optical setups and instruments such as optical microscopes, interferometers, holography systems, and microlithography systems may require positioning and adjustment with higher precision, depending on the application.

To meet the growing demands of industrial and research applications for precision positioning, Fath Noor Mihan (Phylabs) has designed and developed a manual nano translation stage with nanometer-scale motion steps. The simultaneous combination of high positioning accuracy at the nanometer scale and a relatively large travel range at the millimeter scale is a key advantage enabled by the innovative design of this stage. The travel range and positioning resolution can also be customized according to the user's specific requirements.

The positioning accuracy of the nano translation stage has been evaluated using three independent methods—interferometry, the Moiré technique, and microscopy. The measurement results demonstrate a positioning accuracy of better than 100 nm.
